Statement
We are strongly
committed to protecting both the on-line and off-line of
all our clients and are recognized as outspoken advocates
for stronger consumer privacy regulations through our work
with unwantedlinks.com, a site dedicated to raising awareness
and protecting consumers privacy rights. We have been nationally
recognized by both NBC & Fox News for our work against
unethical on-line marketers and advertisers gathering and
sharing consumer's personal information.
This privacy

All of our clients
information is restricted in our offices. Only employees
who need the information to perform a specific job (for
example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative)
are granted access to personally identifiable information.
Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security
and privacy practices.
In developing
our client's web sites it is generally necessary and required
that our clients provide us with access to passwords to
certain web service accounts for uploading files to the
hosting server and connecting to gateways and shopping cart
service providers. The sharing of this information is necessary
for the proper development of the web site. Any information
given for this purpose will remain totally confidential
and it will not be shared with any outside agencies or companies
except as needed to perform our required job functions with
regard to the development of our clients web sites.
At no time do
we do not sell, rent or share any contact information about
our clients.
Order Forms
Both St.Clair's
Designs and Long Island Business Webs use order forms for
potential clients to request information. We request information
from the user on our order form. A user must provide contact
information (such as name, email, and mailing address).
This information is used for billing purposes and to fill
customer’s orders and requests for information.
If we have trouble processing an order, the information
is used to contact the user. We do not share information
from visitors requesting information or consulations with
any out side agencies or businesses.
Customer Service
We communicate
with users on a regular basis to provide requested services
and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply
via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes.
Service Providers
We encourage
our clients to establish their own accounts whenever possible
with outside service providers (i.e. hosting, domain registrations,
and e-comm services). However, if a client requests our
assistance in setting up these outside accounts it will
be necessary for us to share the client's information (i.e.
name, address, or e-mail address) to establish necessary
hosting services, domain name registrations, or to establish
e-comm services for the development of the web site. This
is done as a service to our clients. Any information needed
for our performance of these services will only be provided
to the required service provider and at no time will we
share sensitive client information other outside agencies
or companies. We are not responsible for the privacy statements
or policies of outside service providers such as domain
registrars, hosting providers or merchant service providers.
Cookies
St.Clair's Designs
& Long Island Business Webs do not currently use cookies
for our own use, however, some of our business partners
use cookies on our site (for example, www.addfreestats.com).
We have no access to or control over these cookies, once
we have given permission for them to set cookies for advertising.
This privacy statement covers the use of cookies bySt.Clair's
Designs & Long Island Business Webs only and does not
cover the use of cookies by any outside advertisers.
Third Party Advertising
Although currently,
we are not participating in outside third party advertising
on this site, however, at times we might participate in
third party advertising. In the event that we do participate
in thrid party advertising the advertising partner might
gather information about users’ visit to this site,
such as number of times they have viewed an ad (but not
user name, address, or other personal information), is used
to serve ads to users on this site.
Log Files &
Web Stats
Like most standard
web site servers we use log files to keep track of how many
visitors visit our site. This includes internet protocol
(IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider
(ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp,
and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site,
track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather
broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP
addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable
information. We currently use a third party tracking
utility called www.addfreestats.com that uses log files
to analyze user movement.

sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they
